God is God. (Isaiah 46:10)

God is the Supreme Ruler and Authority

He ordains whatever comes to pass, and His divine purpose is always accomplished.

Speaking of the Christian, Charles Spurgeon wrote--“Under the most adverse circumstance, in the most severe trials, they believe that sovereignty has ordained their afflictions, that sovereignty  overrules them, and that sovereignty will sanctify them all.”

A.W. Pink said--“Embracing Sovereignty is really a fundamental difference between a believer and an unbeliever. The unbeliever is of the world, judges everything by worldly standards, views life from the standpoint of time and sense, and weighs everything in the balances of his own carnal understanding. But the man of faith brings in God, looks at everything from His standpoint, estimates values by spiritual standards, views life in the light of eternity. Doing this he receives whatever comes as from the hand of God. Doing this his heart is calm in the midst of storms. Doing this he rejoices in the hope of the Glory of God.”
